Meet the eComOne Team

Here at eComOne, we’re an eclectic bunch; that’s what makes the team so special. Each individual comes with their own unique set of skills and characteristics that make them who they are.

That’s something eComOne is really good at, allowing the team to be wholeheartedly themselves. Here, we will introduce you to the team, giving you an insight into their roles, what they bring to the table and what fills them with joy when they’re not behind a computer screen, ensuring showstopping results.

Full disclosure: the amount written about each person is based purely on how much they chose to share about themselves and no other factors.

Richard Hill – Founder and CEO

Richard is the reason we’re all here; his dedication to eComOne is clear. He understands hard work and is committed to the company’s bigger vision. However, culture is a massive part of what makes eComOne so strong, and Richard has fostered this.

From mental well-being days to confidence workshops, team days out and drinks after hours he’s created a business of colleagues who would class each other as friends.

Richard loves nothing more than hiking in the Lakes with his wife and two boys. He’s well-traveled and enjoys experiencing different cultures. Between mentoring the team and jet-setting, you’ll find him at David Lloyd, hitting the gym, and relaxing in the sauna.

Other fun facts are that he loves Prince, peacocks, and purple, and he colour-coordinates the books in his office.

Henry Gill – Head of Operations

Henry ensures we all know what is expected of us and that our visions for the company’s future are aligned. He also checks that the right processes are in place and that all documents are up to date.

He’s a stickler for a time sheet, so you best ensure it’s submitted on time. This ensures the correct hours are spent on client projects and individuals are hitting their billable hours.

He helps Department Heads with overall strategy, especially PPC and SEO, and ensures we focus on the areas that lead to client revenue growth. He also performs quality checks on client projects to ensure the right standard is met.

When asked what he brings to the team, he said, “Spreadsheets. Lots of spreadsheets”, which he hopes help with problem-solving, organisation, and a growth mindset.” We also think he brings a kind listening ear and great understanding.

Henry enjoys running and listening to history audiobooks and podcasts. He’s a huge fan of “The Rest is History.” When he isn’t working, he spends time with his partner and daughter.

Fuelled off Coffee, you’ll find him creating a spreadsheet or to-do list and playing tennis or any racket sport.

Andrew Birkitt – Director

Andy assists with the company’s management but is still heavily involved with Technical aspects, especially the management of client feeds. He’s definitely the wise “old” owl of the company, with a smart head on strong shoulders.

He’s extremely passionate about Lego and heritage. He’s proud to be one of the founding members of the Gainsborough Heritage Centre, which last year celebrated its 30th anniversary. He is currently the longest-serving Chairman! In 2025, he would love to see the heritage centre achieve Museums Accreditation, which is a major thing for a voluntary museum.

He brings the best hugs when they’re needed most, an abundance of showstopping Lego creations and the ability to bring a laptop back to life when you think there is no return.

Kieran Wright – Head of Technical

As part of the Technical team, Kieran works on fixing and optimising conversion tracking setups, identifying and implementing technical SEO improvements, and fixing issues that can impact the indexability of our clients’ sites.

He brings an element of obsessive nerdiness to tracking down the cause of technical issues. Outside of work, his hobbies include long walks on the beach, coming up with excuses for why he hasn’t posted more on LinkedIn, expanding his collection of jumpers, and occasionally tinkering with things.

His goal for 2025 is to finish some of his personal projects and maybe add to his jumper collection.

Joe Burton – Senior SEO Executive

Joe carries out website audits to find technical and content errors and areas for further optimisation. He focuses on Core Web Vital Audits which he presents to clients to make sure they understand the findings from their website and how they will be actioned to increase SEO performance on their website.

He works on the fixes from website audits, uploads blogs, and works on web development projects such as the creation of new page templates and page elements for catalyst implementation.

He’s a hard working member of the team who’s motivated to learn as much as he can, he brings lots of value to the team and helps others where possible.

He’s a dad of 2 little monsters so his hobbies include watching paw patrol, building dens, and playing hide and seek. However, when he’s not in dad mode he’s either drinking coffee, making pancakes or pizza, or building out his home gym as he’s a big fitness enthusiast.

Theo Roberts – Senior Account Strategist

Theo focuses on creating SEO and CVO strategies that help clients grow and thrive. People often call him the Retention King because he’s dedicated to his clients’ success.

He brings style to the team, as he’s won Best Dressed two years in a row. You’ll also find him bringing the vibes and fresh ideas to the table.

Theo believes that joy, innovation and communication are the keys to success.

Music has been a cornerstone in his life, filling his home since childhood and shaping who he’s become.

Working at RCA Records was a dream come true for Theo, giving him the chance to work on projects for some of his all-time favourite artists, Ciara and Beyoncé. They’re forever icons to him, and that experience will always be one of his career highlights. These days, he’s embraced his ratchet side and is a huge fan of Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Doechii—currently on repeat.

When he’s not working or immersed in music, you’ll find him at the gym, eating good food, getting his haircut (his weekly therapy), catching up on The Real Housewives of Atlanta or Potomac, spending time with family and friends, or hanging out with his British Shorthair, Shia, who he rescued nine months ago. It’s Shia’s world, Theo is just lucky to be living in it.

Damian Duke – SEO Senior Account Manager

Damian, also affectionately known as Damo by some of the team, creates and executes killer SEO strategies to help brands grow their online presence, get to the top of search engine results, and drive organic revenue to exceed their business goals.

He likes to think he brings a strong beard to the team, but we’re still not sure. However, he does bring a strategic and data-driven approach, focused on generating conversions and putting clients’ goals front and centre. He also has a knack for putting up with relentless teasing and a great sense of humour.

When asked to tell us about himself, he says he’s a self-proclaimed excellent cook and budding MasterChef contestant (he wishes). However, we can vouch for his baking skills from some of the tasty treats he’s brought in and his lunches do often provoke jealousy from the meal-deal crowd in the office.

Sophie Penny – Senior Account Manager

Sophie’s role entails managing clients’ email marketing and Digital PR strategies, helping to achieve measurable results. When asked about herself, Sophie said she’s fit and flirty and gave us her bra size; we can’t dispute any of these facts. She then said she loves city breaks, bunny rabbits, and reading thriller books. We think this is what she was hoping I’d publish, but at eComOne, we like to remain transparent.

However, you’ll need three dates at minimum to find out that bra size. Sophie brings endless laughs to the team with her quick wit, crazy questions, and no-filter comments, and the office doesn’t quite feel the same when she’s not in.

Brittany Jarman – Client Growth Manager

Brittany, lovingly known to all as Brit, works with existing and new clients to audit their current digital marketing approach and diagnose strategies for reaching the next level of business growth.

She brings great style with her clean girl meets cottage core aesthetic and a warm smile to the team. This ray of sunshine loves nothing more than scouting homeware in charity shops and car boot sales.

Alex Stephens – Head of Performance

Alex manages the PPC team, which covers Google, Microsoft and Meta Ads. She pitches to new prospects and focuses on account management and developing growth strategies for existing clients.

Alex says she brings strong client management, new ideas and organisational skills to the team. We also think she brings the best teeth, nail inspo, and great chitchat.

She’s utterly obsessed with her four-year-old Cavapoochon Ronnie and loves being in her dog mum era. In 2025, Alex says she aims to be fitter and healthier and wants to challenge herself to run her first 10K.

Emma Derbyshire – Head of Growth

Emma helps to find ambitious eCommerce brands that we can help to reach their commercial goals. She also continuously nurtures our existing clients to grow and surpass their objectives.

She brings a positive and fun energy to the team, but she’s also a supportive and mentoring ear when needed.

Emma is in her mum era and is thriving; she’s a proud mummy to a beautiful 15-month-old baby girl. She loves musical theatre, walks in fresh air and gooood food!

Rowan Payne – Senior Account Manager

Rowan ensures successful campaigns across Meta and Google for his clients by structuring wider campaign objectives and strategies and designing brand-aligned graphics.

Rowan loves history and literature and is keen on building contemporary strategies for heritage brands. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, and his dance moves, including the worm, are something to behold. His goal for 2025 is to learn to fence, completely on brand for our English gentleman.

A headshot of Elisa Melina on the blue sofa

Elisa Melina – Creative Account Executive

Elisa, aka Elle, creates content that grabs attention, from Meta Ads that stop the scroll to email campaigns that get clicks. Elle’s role involves planning, writing, and brainstorming (usually fueled by caffeine and good music). She loves the challenge of turning big ideas into content that delivers real results.

When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her hiking up a hill or planning her next trip. She loves a good adventure, whether exploring a new city or soaking in the views from a mountain trail. Hiking keeps her grounded, and travel inspires her. Both keep her thinking about where the next journey might be.

Eleasha Reay – Account Manager

Eleasha works with clients to help their businesses succeed with Google and Microsoft Ads. She brings a loud and wonderful laugh, a fantastic cardigan collection and great vibes to the team.

She loves playing netball in a social league and finding bargains at charity shops. She wants to cut down her coffee consumption in 2025, but working in an office with a free supply of coffee makes us unsure that’s going to happen.

A headshot of Jonny Hall on the blue sofa

Jonny Hall – Senior Content Manager

Jonny is our senior content manager; his role includes creating search engine optimised (SEO) content that will increase Google rankings and attract traffic. He also heads up the content team, ensuring everything is running smoothly.

Jonny is never without a smile, and his cheery personality and positive attitude are infectious. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, reading, playing football, and skiing.

In 2025, he’d love to discover more new music and write a personal journal; I wonder if he’ll let us have a read.

A photo of Carrianne Dukes with her sister in the peak district

Carrianne Dukes – Head of Brand

She’s the one on the left. The main aspects of her role include increasing the number of conversations with prospects who want to grow their business. Basically, she loves to chat. Her primary focus is on event management, partnerships, podcasts, and CSR.

She’s one of the most supportive members of the team, bringing caring vibes and an excess of chicken and rice. When she’s not at work, she’s in the gym, running, or spending time with her sister (she’s on the right) and friends.

Oh, and she can also count to 20 in German. We should probably start calling her bilingual.

Sadie TaylorContent Manager

Full-time mum, part-time content manager. Sadie’s role includes writing blogs and categories expertly crafted to be search engine optimised to increase clients’ Google rankings.

Sadie prides herself on being organised and getting things done efficiently but to a high standard. She brings a monthly cold and the ability to empty the snack cupboard to the table.

When she’s not sitting cross-legged typing away, she’s spending time with her beautiful little boy, who’s pictured above, planning their next little activity or big adventure and creating memories with her husband.

For Sadie, 2025 is the year of self-acceptance, embracing herself, loving herself and believing she’s capable of whatever she puts her mind to.

April Yap-Alovera – SEO Executive

April specialises in using her digital skills to help clients achieve organic growth. Her focuses include SEO optimisation and content creation to improve search engine rankings.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her enjoying a run, this is her favourite way to stay active and helps to clear her mind.

A photo of Chantal in a home

Chantal Lee Ching – SEO Specialist

Chantal has over a decade of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing and SEO. She specialises in creating data-driven strategies that drive organic growth and boost online visibility. Her focus is on creating SEO-optimised content to enhance search rankings.

Chantal brings passion, creativity and determination to the team. She’s a proud wife and mother of two, originally from Gqeberha (GQ), Eastern Cape, RSA. When she’s not deep-diving into algorithms or analysing metrics, she focuses on keeping her kids alive, repeating herself endlessly, and plotting playful payback for their teen years—all in good fun!

Dan Zahajkiewicz – Video Producer
