Announcing our charity of the year (drumroll, please)… Jerry Green Dog Rescue! Each year we ask our team to nominate a charity they want to help. This year, we had some fantastic nominees; however, a fair few members of the team chose Jerry Green Dog Rescue, and when we spun the wheel of truth, they won!
“What did they win?” I hear you ask. A whole year of support and fundraising from the wonderful team at eComOne! We believe that businesses should be a force for good.
Jerry Green Dog Rescue was founded in 1961 and has been a lifeline for countless dogs in need across the UK. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs and ensure they find their forever families.
Their dedication doesn’t stop there; they also work tirelessly to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, making a real impact.
At eComOne, we’re a team of dog lovers. Many of us own our own four-legged friends, and we believe every dog deserves a happy and safe home.
We also chose Jerry Green Dog Rescue because its values align perfectly with ours. At eComOne, we value compassion, community, and making a positive difference. Supporting Jerry Green means not only helping dogs in need but also shining a light on the importance of animal welfare in our society. They inspire us to do better and be better, and that’s a mission we’re proud to stand behind.
This year we’re determined to raise vital funds, promote awareness and give valuable time to this charity to help them with the amazing work they do. With plans of 10K runs, half marathons, volunteering days, book and bake sales, and even a tipsy bingo event, we’ve got something to suit everyone.
